Welcome
to the Brian Vermilyer Hope Foundation for Children website. We created the foundation in memory of our son Brian who was diagnosed at the age of thirteen with an inoperable brain stem tumor.   He went through many treatments of radiation and chemotherapy. During one of our stays at the hospital Brian was laying in bed and turned to look at me and said "Mom promise me something, if I die please find out how I got cancer". Fourteen months later, Brian became our "Angel in Heaven". He taught us so much about life and helped us see the good in people. He had an incredible sense of humor and a beautiful smile to go along with it.
